Appearance:

Miata is rather small is stature. standing only at four feet one inch she is normally overlooked by those who pass her. Small in height she also does not weigh much, only about 60 pounds at most. Her frame is small though seems to carry some level of strength for someone her size. She however does not seem overly thin or unhealthy just...small. She has short green hair that she keeps cut just above her shoulders and ties it back with a plain hair ribbon. Her eyes are a bright almost cheerful blue.

She wears a rather plain green dress, nothing fancy though with most of the clothing style in Rukongai it is slightly out of place. she is almost alway seen wearing a plain and tattered brown cloak. The cloak covers her completely from the neck to her lower legs but she wears it in such a way that is does not hinder her movement. The cloak is held on by a clasp that bears a symbol but she does not know what it means. She wears plain wooden shoes on her feet, nothing fancy but they get the job done.

Strength/Weaknesses:

Miata is very tough for someone her size, able to take hits that would daze those twice her size. She has a high tolerance for pain as well, being that her body is nothing but bone and muscle this does not come as a surprise. She is fairly fast, able to move and react with decent timing. She can hit surprisingly hard with her solid form and her speed. However because of her small size she can easily be sent flying, able to take the hit or not. Also while she can strike hard she is not very strong physically, any task that need pure strength she will have no end of trouble with.

Personality:
Miata is calm and very quiet. She rarely speaks to anyone and when she does it is very brief and only when needed. Her tone of voice is very polite, not warm but not cold or arrogant either. She carries herself in a serious manner her eyes and face always seem to be locked in an expression of consideration and thought.It is not that she is shy though contrary to belief, but she is rather anti social preferring her own company over that of others. With some coaxing though she will be around others..even if she listens more than she speaks.

Miata has a very strong sense of integrity and is easily angered when she seems people being treated unjustly. Despite being easily angered she controls it never flying into a rage or going out of control. she always thinks before she makes an action that she cannot take back. She is also very loyal to the people whom she considers friends, always watching out for them and at times putting their safety above her own.

Shikai:
When using her Shikai Miata will bring her swords together back to back causing them to glow brightly. In there place will appear a massive sword that should eb too heavy for her to use. However to her the blade is very light and easy to use. To anyone else it is heavy weighing a least 200 pounds and when she swings it all that force is translated tot he swing.

Released Zanpakuto Looks: Colossal takes the form of a massive blade six feet in length with a one and a half foot hilt. The blade is about seven inches wide and one full inch thick. the weapon is colored silver with blade trim and a green hilt.

Other Techniques:

Hand to Hand
Miata is skilled in hand to hand combat having trained under a former shinigami in the art of Hakuda. However she did not learn to trained her spiritual energy so she is incapable of using any of the advanced moves of Hakuda as of yet.

Zanjutsu
Miata is skilled in the use of her twin sword and her large shikai blade. While far from a master she is skilled enough to hold her own against those of slightly higher power in a fight.

Basic Kido
Miata is capable of using both defensive and offensive kido up to ten as long as she uses the full incantation.

History and RP Sample

History:

Miata lived a pretty basic life. She was born in Burma in the Ava kingdom. Her parents while they were not poor were not very well off either so growing up she did not have much extra. Despite this though is was not a bad life, there was enough food and she at least had a place to sleep at night. She had few friends but those she had she was very close to. In all things looked like they were pretty happy. One day though without warning a Shan raider party descended upon her small town. Because Miata had made sure her friends had gotten to safety first she could not get away in time. She was shown mercy though as the leader decided to give her a quick death instead of many worse fates.

When she died it did not take long for a shinigami to come and pass her on to the next life. Whens he arrived in Soul Society she found herself in Rukon District 14. It was plain like her town had been so she was not too uncomfortable. She made the best of it sharing a bunk house with several other people and life went on..so to speak. However as time went on she withdrew into herself, becoming distant to the others and spending more and more time alone. She just could not find anyone she could really connect to.

After some time of living in Soul Society she came upon an old man practicing what appeared to be martial arts. She became enthralled by the way he moved, the graceful yet powerful movements of his arms and legs memorizing her. When the old man saw her he smiled and called her over. Thinking she was in trouble she went over to him her head down. But instead of being yelled out the old man placed a kind hand on her head and asked her if she wanted to learn the moves he was doing. She said that she would and that is how she met Master Zen.

Master Zen explained that the martial arts he used was called Hakuda and that is was used by shinigami. It turned out that he once had been a shinigami before he left Seireitei due to his loss of faith in the governing system. He taught her all he could training her and honing her skills. In turn she was eager to learn from him taking in all he taught and practicing until she was satisfied with it, no small feat indeed. He gave her an old cloak telling her that if she ever got into a fight it would help protect her and with practice she could move with it on without it obstructing her. As they trained she discovered that more and more she was hungry, going from eating one a month to once a week, then three times a week. Unsure of what that meant she questioned her master who told her it was a sign of high spiritual power. It also meant that she had the potential to be a shinigami, though she made it clear that she did not want to become one.

Life went on for years and years as Miata continued to train under her master. However one day A massive creature attacked the Rukon District. Her master explained that it was a Hollow, a soul that could not pass on and now fed on other souls. He took out a wrapped item from a drawer and upon unwrapping it revealed it to be a sword, an old sword that was chipped and pitted with rust and age. Telling her get the people to safety he ran out to face the Hollow alone. She did what he asked getting the people to safety and waited with baited breath and she heard the sounds of battle. After a long roar was heard followed by a thud she saw Zen walking towards her. At first she was overjoyed running to him but as she reached him he collapsed. Catching him in her arms she saw the wounds he had taken. Sobbing she begged him not to die but he only smile. Placing a hand on her cheek her told her to protect the people in his stead and that the time he had spent with her had been happy.

As he died Miata was left to grieve alone..or so she thought. She went alone to bury him but as she did the rest of the people whom he had protected came. they helped her dig and form a proper grave and memorial for him. It was thens he realized that these people would be her new family. she was to protect them and in turn they would help her, after all that was what a family did.
