{Mission} Extermination

Mission Info:

Name: Extermination

Description: An army of gillain class menos have appeared along the outskirts of the Rukongai district. The Lieutenant of Squad 8 has been dispatched along with the Lieutenant of Squad 4 for relief. Usage of zanpaktou releases have been allowed.

Kojiro walked quickly though gracefully towards the gate that would allow him to arrive closest to where the menos had appeared. He was late meeting Kyo who was the other one who he was to accompany as back-up while facing the menos. He arrived at the gate, not panting though one would think he would be considering the amount of things he was carrying. Hidden amongst his clothes, were the things that most medics carried. Though because of his skill level, Kojiro carried more advanced versions of those basic tools. His hands at his sides, his scarf blowing in the wind, Kojiro looked at Kyo and nodded

"Sorry for being late, lets go."

Standing outside of the Rukongai was squad 8 Lieutenant, Kyoshiro Takeda.He has been assigned the special task of eliminating a horde of Gillian class menos who had appeared outside of the soul society. He was assigned Kojiro Soyoki, Lieutenant of squad 4, as medical support. Kyo would wait until Kojiro arrived before starting his attack on the Hollows. It wasn't too long until he heard the footsteps of someone. He then heard the person apologize for being late. It was then that he knew it was Kojiro. "About time you got here Koji. Alright then let's take care of business." With that said Kyo drew his sword and flash stepped out to the battle field.

Kojiro nodded as the gate was lifted and then both used shunpo. Shunpo, a skilled focused on the distance one could cross with it rather than how many times you could use it. They both arrived a bit ahead of the army of menos. They had yet to reach this part of the town, which was good because now the two lieutenants could prevent them from destroying this part of the town. The menos according to pictures Kojiro has seen, were of Gillian class. It is not strange that they would attack in groups but why all the way out here?

Kojiro watched as Kyo held his sword, steady in his hand though Kojiro would not draw his sword. Not yet. Kojiro would focus on preventing the menos from harming Kyo as this was how Kojiro fought. His hands held aloof at his sides, Kojiro tensed his body ready for the menos.

A large cry shot out from the army, as the leading menos roared. It appeared as it was the only one that has noticed the two shinigami standing there and would take action against them. A circular beam of reaitsu charged in-front of its mouth before soon shooting out towards the two shinigami. This was a basic yet powerful move of the gillian known as Cero. It would charge then fire in a thin straight line, traveling from the menos to the shinigami. Its speed would shock the two men, and if connected to some serious damage.

As both Kyo and Kojiro arrived at the area of battle, in front of them was an armada of Gillian class Menos. Luckily the group was a distance away from any towns so Kyo would be able to take them on at full power. But before Kyo was able to launch his attack he heard the loud bellowing roar of one of the menos. It seems the two of them had been spotted by one of the Gillian. "Well so much for the element of suprise."

The hollow that noticed them immediatly started to charge up reiatsu near it's mouth and shot the crimson beam known as a cero. Kyo raised up his hand in front of himself and casta spell, "Bakudo #81 Danku!" Suddently a rectangular wall made of energy appeared in front of Kyo and Kojiro and procted them from the Cero. Now Kyo leaped up and toward the Hollow. "SHUNKO!!" With that said Kyo's body became covered in pressurized Kido and blew away the sleeves and back of his clothes.

When Kyo got near the Gillian's head he punched it and the mask cracked, but the hollow wasn't dead. Kyo then pointed his finger at the hollow. "Byakurai!" From Kyo's finger then shot out a white beam of reaitsu that resembled white lightning.
